Amber is currently getting her Mental Health Counseling Graduate Degree from SUNY New Paltz and is appreciating the journey. Amber committed to the yogic lifestyle in 2008 when she began to feel and understand the healing powers of yoga. Over the years, Amber has continued to dive into tapas (spiritual purifying), and embrace a more whole connected being. She has been studying Bhakti Yoga under her teacher Madan since 2013 and brings her own sadhana (spiritual practice) into her teachings as she evolves on her path.
In the fall of 2010, Amber cofounded YogaNut, yoganutwear.com, an eco-friendly yoga apparel and gear company, combining her awareness of green consciousness, design, and fashion in the yoga world. Her passions serve to inspire businesses and individuals to mindfulness while they enjoy YogaNut’s wit and optimism.
In June of 2012, Amber completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, at the RajaHatha School of Yoga, under her teacher Amy Pearce-Hayden. This training brought tremendous personal growth, heartfelt connection with her yoga family and certifies Amber with the Yoga Alliance standards.
'One way to notice how pure we are is to notice how we maintain our externals. If our externals do not bring us
